🔺The Front Office Department is one of the major department in a hotel.It is the face of any hotel. Since it is situated in the front area ,that's why it is called 'Front Office'.

🔺It is the first and last meeting point of any hotel.So,this dept. is responsible for creating the good representation of the hotel in the guest minds.

🔺A front office department has to perform many functions during the guest cycle. i.e. pre-arrival, arrival, stay, departure & post-departure.

🔺The front office consists of many parts like Reception, Reservation,Bell Desk,etc.

Now we discuss a little about each part.

#1.Reception

'A reception is the place where the guest comes directly after entering the hotel. Here the receptionist checks the guest's reservation in their system and completes the Check-in process.'
